The set holds resin ejection seats with faithfully cast seat belts for the two-seat cockpit of the F/A-18D Hornet in 1:32 scale. Quickboost is a brand of aftermarket accessories; the castings replace the simplified seats from the kit and save laborious adding of the harness. It is not an airplane model but an accessory for raising the detail of the interior.
The F/A-18D Hornet is the two-seat version of the multirole carrier-based fighter. Besides training it also serves on combat duties, where the second crew member works the sensors and the armament; the cockpit is fitted with zero-zero ejection seats.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue, separate the casting blocks and sand the surfaces down. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Spray the seats with a primer, then the base shades; set the belts and buckles apart and bring out the stitching and the detail with a fine wash.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as resin parts. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
