1:32 Focke-Wulf Fw 190 D-9 is a set of airbrush masks from 1 Man Army intended for painting a model, not an aircraft kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of masks from 1 Man Army in 1:32 scale. It is an accessory for painting, not an aircraft model. The masks serve to spray the markings directly in paint, which is an alternative to decals that modelers reach for mainly in large scales.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 D-9 was the version of the German single-seat fighter in which the original radial engine was replaced by a liquid-cooled inverted V12. The change of powerplant called for a lengthening of both the forward fuselage and the tail section, so the silhouette of the aircraft is markedly slimmer and longer than on the earlier versions with a radial engine. The cooling circuit was handled with an annular radiator at the front, which is visually confusing — seen head on, the machine resembles a version with a radial engine.
For modelers building the Fw 190 D-9 in a large scale who want the markings in paint rather than in a decal. Sprayed insignia take subsequent weathering better and do not form a glossy step on the surface. The work takes longer than with a decal, but the result matches real paintwork.
This is a separate accessory. The aircraft model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
