This is a 3D printed resin detail set from IBG models, not a kit. The set holds replacement exhausts for the Supermarine Spitfire in 1:72 scale rendered as individual ones, that is as a row of separate round exhaust stubs instead of a joined fishtail.

What the set is for

It replaces the plastic exhausts from the box with more faithful resin parts with hollowed openings. The individual type of exhaust matches a particular rendition of the real subject, so that choosing between the fishtail and individual stubs lets you build the correct version of the aircraft.

Usage tips

Separate the parts from the print supports, clean and degrease them. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The exhausts come out well with shades of rust and burnt steel: a dark base, metallic shades and fine pigments work well. Fit them only at the end of the build.
