An accessory set of a control column for the cockpit of a model of the German Fw 190 fighter in the A, D, F and G versions, in 1:32 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a replacement part. In this large scale you can see well into an open cockpit and the control column is the first thing the eye falls on. The casting offers a finer shape of the grip and the triggers than an injection mold can manage.
Cut the part from the casting block with a fine saw and sand the cut face smooth. Wash the resin in lukewarm water with detergent before painting. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the column separately and fit it into the cockpit only once it is finished. The grip is usually in a different shade from the shaft, and it is exactly this difference that sells the detail. Remember that the column should stand upright, or be deflected slightly if there is a figure in the cockpit.
The set contains the control column only. Glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
