A resin detail part in 1:32 scale from the maker Aires, the Quickboost line. It is not a kit of the airplane but an accessory that replaces the plastic upper cover of the gun bay in the nose of the fuselage with a more precise resin part. The designation early version tells apart the shape of the cover matching the earlier pattern. The part is meant to be built into a matching plastic model.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190D-9, nicknamed Dora, was a late version of the Fw 190 fighter with a lengthened nose and the Junkers Jumo 213 inverted V12 engine. Against the radial-engine versions of the A series it had better performance at greater heights. The cover in the nose of the fuselage closed off the bay with the guns, and its shape differed slightly between the individual patterns.
First wash the part free of mold release residue, cut off the casting block carefully and glue it with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Dry-fit the part before gluing and rework the surrounding plastic if need be. Spray the surface to match the rest of the fuselage, so that the part blends into the overall finish.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
