Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched detail set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard that makes it possible to build realistically thin and pierced landing flaps for a plastic model of the Fw 190D-9 fighter in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane kit but an aftermarket accessory that replaces the heavy plastic flaps with a fine metal structure.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190D-9, nicknamed Dora, was a late version of the German Second World War fighter with a lengthened nose and the Junkers Jumo 213 inverted V12 engine. Compared with the radial-engined A versions it offered better performance at high altitude. Lowered landing flaps are among the striking elements that bring a model to life on static display.
Nip the parts out of the fret, clean them up and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); larger surfaces can be soldered. Make the bends precisely so that the flaps seat correctly. Degrease the surface before painting. The work calls for tweezers, patience and precision.
This is an accessory, not a model. The airplane kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
