A pair of turned metal barrels of the German MG 131 aircraft machine gun of 13 mm caliber in 1:32 scale from MASTER. A faithful replacement for the plastic parts from a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set holds two turned metal barrels of the German MG 131 aircraft machine gun of 13 mm caliber in 1:32 scale. The parts replace the plastic barrels from the box and bring a sharp bore muzzle and faithful geometry that plastic cannot manage. The manufacturer is the Polish brand MASTER.
The MG 131 was a capable aircraft machine gun of 13 mm caliber that spread in the later part of the Second World War as fuselage as well as defensive armament on German aircraft. It was mounted among other places as a pair of synchronized weapons above the engine of the Messerschmitt Bf 109G, where its larger breeches called for the characteristic fairings on the upper surface of the cowling.
Cut off the plastic barrels and clean up the seating surfaces. Bond the metal parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate). After degreasing, apply a primer for metal and tone the barrels in dark metallic shades with a gentle accent at the muzzle.
This is an add-on detail set, not a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
