Eduard 1:32 He 219 is a color photo-etched set from the Zoom range for the cockpit interior of a model of the Heinkel He 219 night fighter. It is an accessory to a kit.

A set of color-printed photo-etched parts from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in the Zoom form, that is a smaller selection focused on the most visible parts of the cockpit of a Heinkel He 219 model in 1:32 scale. The parts are self-adhesive and printed in color, so they can be used even with no experience of painting instrument panels. It is not an aircraft kit: the set replaces and supplements the plastic interior parts, and the model itself is bought separately.
The Heinkel He 219 was a German twin-engine night fighter of the Second World War. It had tricycle landing gear, a crew of two seated back to back, and it carried radar in the nose for night interception. In 1:32 scale the model comes out large and the cockpit is clearly visible through the extensive glazing, so color panels and instrument panels lift the final standard considerably.
Separate the parts with a sharp scalpel on a hard surface, and never pull them out. Lay the self-adhesive parts on with tweezers and press them down with a soft tool; where a firmer joint is needed, use a small drop of cyanoacrylate or a glue for photo-etched parts. Solvent glues and aggressive thinners would damage the color printing. Trim the plastic originals off before fitting and level the surface. Even the finished interior out with a thin coat of flat clear.
The set is an accessory to a plastic model, not a stand-alone kit. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
