A set of color, pre-printed photo-etched seat belts for the pilot seats of models of Italian fighters of the Second World War, the Macchi C.200 to C.205 range, in 1:32 scale. The belts are made of thin metal sheet with a color print that reproduces the webbing and the metal buckles faithfully. This is a cockpit accessory, not a kit of the aircraft.
The Italian Macchi fighters of the C.200 to C.205 range were among the most capable machines of the Regia Aeronautica in the Second World War. The pilot seats used canvas webbing with metal buckles, and rendering these faithfully brings the interior of a model markedly to life.
Cut the belts out carefully, shape them to the seat and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. The color print only needs picking out gently; the flexibility of the photo-etched metal lets the belts be made to sag realistically.
This is an accessory set, not a kit of the aircraft. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
