This resin accessory from the Quickboost brand in 1:32 scale offers faithfully cast exhaust stubs for a model of the German Junkers Ju 87G Stuka dive bomber. It is not a kit of the airplane but replacement parts that will take the place of the simplified exhausts from the plastic kit with sharply cast items with marked mouths.
The Ju 87G was the anti-tank version of the renowned Stuka, armed with a pair of cannon under the wings and committed above all on the Eastern Front. It was powered by an inverted V12 engine with the exhaust stubs led out along the sides of the engine cowling. Faithfully rendered exhausts with a suggested opening at the mouth and traces of heat loading are among the details that liven up the forward part of a model.
Wash the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water because of the mold release residue. Cut off the casting block with a saw or a knife, sand the surface and protect your airways when sanding resin. Glue the exhausts with super glue (cyanoacrylate). They come into their own once they are painted in dark metallic and rusty shades with light picking out; apply a primer before painting.
It is supplied as a resin accessory for experienced modelers, not as a stand-alone kit. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
