A resin detail set from the Quickboost brand in 1:32 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a set of cast ammunition boxes for a matching kit of the German Junkers Ju 88 bomber. The resin castings complement the interior of the cockpit at the defensive guns and bring detail that a plastic kit mostly does not contain. The set is intended for more experienced modelers.
The Junkers Ju 88 was a versatile German twin-engine aircraft of the Second World War, used as a bomber, a dive bomber, a night fighter and a reconnaissance machine. The crew had several flexible machine guns for defense, and boxes with reserve ammunition were placed around the glazed cockpit to go with them. These small elements enliven an otherwise empty model interior.
Wash the parts to remove mold release residue, separate them from the casting blocks carefully and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding resin. The boxes come into their own once painted and the edges are lightly picked out with a dry brush and a wash.
This is an accessory resin set, not a stand-alone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
