Eduard 1:32 Lockheed F-35C is a set of self-adhesive masking templates for a model of the carrier version of the F-35. It is not a kit but an accessory that makes spraying the glazing cleanly easier.

This masking set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:32 scale is intended for a model of the carrier variant of the F-35. The set contains pre-shaped self-adhesive masks that are stuck straight onto the parts of the model, so you do not have to cut the cockpit framing and other sharply bounded areas laboriously out of tape. It is an accessory for a kit, not the model itself; the box contains neither the kit, nor paints, nor glue. This version deals with the outer side of the glazing; the sister set designated TFace additionally adds masks for the inner side, if you want to finish the framing from inside the cockpit as well.
The F-35C is the carrier version of the single-engine Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II, adapted for operation from aircraft carriers. It differs from the land-based variant above all in a larger wing area with folding wingtips, strengthened landing gear and an arrestor hook. The larger wing improves handling at the low speeds of a deck approach and increases range. The extensive cockpit glazing with prominent framing is among the most noticeable details on this type, and it is on those that the quality of the masking shows most.
Wash and degrease the clear part first so that the mask holds. Take the individual parts off the sheet with the tip of a scalpel, seat them in place and press the edges down carefully with a toothpick or a wooden stick, because it is under an edge that has not been pressed down that paint runs most often. Fill in the larger continuous areas between the frames with masking tape or masking fluid. Spray in several thin coats; the interior shade of the framing first, and the outer color once it is dry. Take the mask off shortly after the paint has flashed off, with a pull at an acute angle and best of all with the tip of a scalpel, so that you do not touch the glazing with your fingers.
The set is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
