This product is not an aircraft model but a set of photo-etched masking templates in 1:32 scale from Atol Hobby. It makes it possible to spray the Luftwaffe walkway markings faithfully on the upper surface of the wings - the broken rows of lines and dots that showed the ground crew where they were allowed to walk on the wing. Many German machines carried these markings, for instance the Messerschmitt Bf 109 or the Focke-Wulf Fw 190.

Use

• Lay the photo-etched mask on the wing exactly against the leading edge and the wingtip.
• Hold it down so that the paint cannot run under the edges and spray a thin coat.
• Lift the mask before the paint dries completely, for sharp edges.
• An airbrush and thinned paint in several thin coats are recommended.

For builders of German aircraft in 1:32 scale who want accurate, repeatable walkway markings without painting them by hand. It suits more experienced modelers used to masking and an airbrush. The metal template is durable and can be used again and again, so you can produce the same markings on several models with an identical result.
