This is a photo-etched detail set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:32 scale. It contains the seat harness straps of the Westland Lynx Mk.88 multipurpose helicopter. It is not a helicopter model, but an accessory that replaces the simplified plastic belts and brings the cabin interior to life.
The Westland Lynx is a British twin-engine multipurpose helicopter used in land and naval service by a number of operators. The Mk.88 version served with the German Marineflieger. The roomy cabin with its clearly visible seats gains noticeably from the straps.
The etched parts are separated from the fret, shaped with tweezers over an edge and bonded with super glue. The straps are painted, the buckles are picked out and the harness is arranged loosely over the seats. The accessory is fitted before the cabin is closed up.
This is a photo-etched accessory for refining a model, not a stand-alone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
