This item is a detail set, not an airplane kit. It holds resin (3D-printed) main landing gear wheels for models of the MiG-15bis and MiG-17 fighters. The wheels are done as weighted: the tires have the settling marked where they meet the ground, which gives a model standing on them a realistic sense of weight.
The MiG-15 and its development, the MiG-17, were among the most widespread jet fighters of the 1950s. A faithful tread pattern and the wheel hubs are one of the details that catch the eye on a model at this scale.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with dish soap and remove the print supports. Clean the surfaces gently with respiratory protection and bond the wheels with super glue. Paint the tires a flat dark gray rather than black and set the hubs apart with a metallic or colored shade; a light dusting of weathering pigments adds to the realism.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
