Eduard 1:32 Messerschmitt Bf-109G-2 LööK is an accessory set with a three-dimensionally printed color instrument panel for a Bf-109G-2 model in 1:32 scale. It is not a kit of the aircraft but equipment.

This set from the Czech maker Eduard belongs to the LööK line, that is to the line of three-dimensionally printed color instrument panels. The panel is printed with the depth of the instruments and the glasses of the dials as well, so once fitted it looks more convincing than a flat photo-etched part or a decal and it needs no painting at all. LööK sets tend to be complemented by photo-etched seat belts; the exact composition of the package is stated on the packaging of the product. The set is not a kit and cannot be used without the plastic model of the Bf-109G-2.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 of the G series was a single-seat fighter aircraft powered by a Daimler-Benz DB 605 V engine. The G-2 version was among the first production machines of this series. The cockpit is fairly large on a model in 1:32 scale and the hinged cover allows a look inside, so the instrument panel is one of the first details a viewer notices on a finished model.
Separate the three-dimensionally printed part carefully from the carrier and level any remains of the supports with a fine file or a sanding sponge. Do not paint the part, as the print is finished; overspraying it with varnish is not recommended either, as it could affect the glasses of the dials. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue applied with a pin in a minimal amount, as excess turns white once cured. Try the panel dry before fitting it, as a plastic kit sometimes needs its seat sanded down slightly. If photo-etched belts are in the package, bend them along the scored grooves and shape the buckles with tweezers. Finish the whole cockpit before the fuselage is closed up.
The set is an accessory to a kit. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
