An accessory, not a kit. The instrument panel and the other interior elements are printed in a 3D texture onto decal paper: they have depth, shadows and legible lettering, but they are applied to the model as an ordinary wet decal. Red Fox Studio offers several variants under the same name that differ only in the target kit — this one is cut for the Revell kit, so the dimensions of the panel match its plastic.
The cockpit of the Bf 109 is famously tight. The instrument panel sits close to the pilot, on the left sidewall there is a console with the engine controls, on the right the electrical section, and above the panel sits a reflector gunsight. On the G-6 version the breeches of the synchronized guns above the engine reach into the cockpit space as well, and they gave the aircraft its characteristic bulges on the cowling — so the panel feels even more enclosed. In a model in this scale practically everything is visible, including both sidewalls.
The most common trouble with large decals is silvering: air trapped between the decal and matte paint creates a milky cast that can no longer be removed. There is only one solution — lay the decal on a glossy surface. So spray the interior with the base color, coat it with a gloss clear coat, let it cure properly and only then apply the panel. Leave the matte varnish until the very end, when it ties the decal in with the surrounding paint.
This is an accessory to a plastic kit, not a model. Paints, varnishes and glue are not included in the package.
