This set of water-slide decals in 1:32 scale brings the markings of the Soviet MiG-21F-13 fighter operated by a secret American test and evaluation unit. It is an accessory for a model that can build an unconventional, historically interesting machine.
The MiG-21F-13 was an early, light day fighter, one of the most widespread jet aircraft of its era. Several acquired machines were evaluated in the 1960s and later by an American test unit at a remote Nevada base, where these MiGs flew under American serials and served to train and prepare their own pilots against Soviet equipment.
Apply the decals to a finished, smooth and glossy model over a gloss varnish. Use a softener so that they settle into the detail and draw off any excess water gently. Once dry, even the surface up with a matte or semi-gloss varnish.
The aircraft model and paints are not included in the package. The set holds the decals and the instructions only.
