A detail set, not an aircraft model. It is a resin cockpit set for a model of the Soviet fighter Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-23MF (NATO reporting name Flogger B) in 1:32 scale. The set replaces the cockpit from the box with a faithfully cast tub, instrument panel, side consoles and ejection seat. Intended for experienced modelers.
In the large 1:32 scale the cockpit is among the best visible parts of a model. The resin castings carry crisp relief of the instruments, levers and switches that injection-molded plastic cannot manage. Photo-etched parts and a film with instrument dials for building a realistic instrument panel are usually included. The result is a deep, convincing cockpit under an opened canopy.
It is a resin detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
