The MiG-29UB is the two-seat trainer version of the MiG-29 fighter. It has a lengthened cockpit for an instructor and a pupil, dual controls and a differently shaped spine and canopy than the single-seat versions. It is exactly this difference in shape that is the reason why the markings of the two-seat machine cannot be carried over unchanged from a sheet meant for the single-seat version.
Once the decals are seated and dry, go over them with a damp cloth and wash off the residues of adhesive they leave behind. If you left them on the surface, they would show as glossy patches around the motif once the model is varnished. Then spray the whole model with a matte or semi-matte clear varnish. That evens out the difference in sheen between the decal and the surrounding paint, hides the edges of the carrier film and at the same time protects the markings from abrasion during further handling and weathering. Apply the varnish in several really thin layers, since a heavy layer would blur the small legends.
The package holds decals only. The model, the paints and the varnishes are not part of it.
