This product is a detail accessory for a cockpit, not a model or a kit of an aircraft. The manufacturer 3DF specializes in 3D-printed modeling parts, and this set offers a replacement for the cockpit seat of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190D-9 for the kits from MiniArt in 1:48 scale. The essential added value over the plastic part from the box is the fineness of the print: sharp edges, the thin walls of the seat shell and a faithful surface texture that injection-molded plastic cannot manage at this resolution. Separate belts mean that the straps are not molded fixed onto the seat: they can be placed and shaped freely, so the seat looks realistically occupied or, conversely, empty, exactly as the builder intends.
For modelers who build the Fw 190D-9 from MiniArt and want an open cockpit on the level of the rest of the kit. Working with 3D-printed parts calls for a little patience and fine tools, but it is considerably easier than assembling photo-etched belts, and the result has relief and is ready to paint straight away.
This is not a model: the Fw 190D-9 kit from MiniArt, paints and glue are not included in the package. The accessory is supplied unpainted. Use respiratory protection when sanding resin parts.
