Seat belts for the seat designated Mk-5 in 1:32 scale, produced by 3D printing. An accessory for the cabin of a larger aircraft model.
Responsibility details are not available.
In 1:32 scale the cabin is an open display case. The seat can be examined down to the detail and a flat relief of belts molded into the shell will last on it only until the first close-up photograph. This set offers belts for the seat carried under the designation Mk-5, produced by 3D printing, so they have a thickness and an edge of their own and cast a shadow. The difference is felt especially on models displayed with the canopy pushed back.
Offer them up dry to the seat you have in the kit and compare the width and the length; the shapes of the shells differ between makers. Trim the molded suggestions of belts off the part with a sharp blade and sand the surface smooth. Finish the cabin before you close the fuselage up, otherwise you will no longer reach the seat. Put work in progress down on a light surface with a rim, as an element of this size dropped on a carpet is lost.
Check first in the manufacturer's instructions whether the elements are self-adhesive. The method of application differs between individual lines, so set about the work only once you are sure. When gluing, dose the super glue with the tip of a pin and take the elements with tweezers with fine points. Leave the belt waved, as though it were hanging over the edge of the seat; a straight strip gives away that it is an accessory. Degrease the surfaces before finishing and then do not take the finished cabin in your fingers.
The subject of sale is these elements. The kit, the paints and the glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
