This is NOT an aircraft model but a detail cockpit set from the maker Aires in 1:32 scale. It combines cast resin parts with photo-etch and replaces the simpler cockpit interior of a kit of the Japanese Nakajima Ki-84 Hayate fighter with a markedly more faithful rendering.
The set typically brings a new cockpit tub, a seat, an instrument panel, side consoles, a control stick and photo-etched belts and small fittings. The castings are finely done and intended for experienced modelers. The exact contents of the package follow the manufacturer's instructions.
First wash the resin parts to remove mold release residue, cut them off the casting blocks (mind the dust and use respiratory protection) and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The colored photo-etch and the instrument panel are best fitted only after the interior has been painted.
The set is an accessory for a kit, not a stand-alone model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
