The Quinta Studio 1:32 3D interior decal for the Nieuport XI brings color raised detail of the cockpit of a First World War fighter on backing decal paper, applied wet.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set of color 3D decals from Quinta Studio refines the open cockpit of the French fighter of the First World War period. The detail is printed on backing decal paper, it has real depth and color and it is applied wet, with no photo-etch and no painting.
The Nieuport XI, nicknamed Bébé, was a light and agile French fighter biplane of the First World War with a sesquiplane layout. It made its mark against German machines in 1916. The open cockpit makes the interior a very visible part of a model.
The part is cut out of the sheet, soaked in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slid off the backing paper into place. It has no adhesive layer of its own and holds on a gloss varnish of the Future, Klear or Tamiya X-22 kind; on broken-up surfaces a drop of super glue helps. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as the chemicals attack the printed resin. On an open cockpit at 1:32 the detail comes out particularly well.
This is an aftermarket accessory (a 3D decal), not a kit. The model itself and the paints are not included in the package.
