A SPACE set is an interior accessory, not a kit. The details are 3D printed and already in color and are carried on decal backings, from which they are lifted with tweezers once moistened and fixed on the model with white PVA glue. Thanks to the three-dimensional printing the instrument panel and the other panels have real depth, while the laborious hand painting of tiny dials and switches falls away. The set is cut for 1:32 scale and for the North American B-25H Mitchell machine.
The B-25 Mitchell was a twin-engine medium bomber of American design, built in many versions differing in nose, armament and glazing. The H version is one of the attack forms, with massive nose armament and without the classic glazing for a bombardier. For a modeler that means that the interior and the layout of the forward section differ on this version from the bomber forms, and the accessory is therefore tied precisely to it.
Proceed differently from a waterslide decal and differently from a resin part. Spray the area the detail is to go onto with base color and coat it with gloss varnish, so that the decal settles without silvering. Cut the part out close and moisten only the backing paper under it, until the element comes free. Lift it with tweezers, settle it in place and fix it with white PVA glue. Do not use a decal softener, as its chemistry would damage both the thin color layer and the printed resin. Once dry, seal it with a matte coat and, if you wish, bring out the edges with a dry brush.
This is an accessory set. The model, paints and clear coats are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
