The set of Reskit figures captures pilots of the original production OV-10A Bronco version standing. The designation type 2 sets it apart from another variant of the same subseries, and the scale of 1:32 matches large models of aircraft.
The OV-10A was the first version of the Bronco produced in series and the US Air Force, the Navy and the Marine Corps all received it. The machine grew out of a requirement for a simple, durable aircraft that was inexpensive to operate and able to take off from unpaved strips close to the front. It came into its own above all as a forward air controller, which sought out targets and marked them with smoke rockets. For a modeler it is charming for its unmistakable silhouette with a pair of booms and a glazed forward section.
Try standing the figures beside the model dry first and look for the angle at which the scene reads best; only then seat them firmly. The coverall of earlier periods tends to be faded, so lighten the basic tone freely and let it look sunlit. The boots and the lower part of the trouser legs deserve dust in the shade of the ground the figures stand on. Anyone who wants to go further can also suggest the reflection of light from the airfield surface on the lower edges of the clothing.
