Quinta Studio 1:72 BM-21 Grad is a color 3D printed interior on a decal carrier paper for sharpening up the cab of a model of the Soviet rocket launcher.
Responsibility details are not available.
A color 3D printed interior (a 3D decal) from Quinta Studio in 1:72 scale, intended for models of the BM-21 Grad rocket launcher. The raised, full-color cab detail is printed on a decal carrier paper and is transferred by dipping in water. It is not photo-etch and it is not resin. The set is based on the cab of the BM-21 kit from Zvezda.
The BM-21 Grad is a Soviet self-propelled rocket launcher of the 1960s, built on a truck chassis. It is among the most widespread salvo fire systems in the world. The interior consists of the driver's cab with its instrument panel and controls.
Coat the surfaces of the cab with gloss varnish (Future, Klear or Tamiya X-22) and let it dry. Cut the part from the sheet, dip it in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slide it off the paper into place; it has no adhesive layer of its own and holds precisely on the gloss varnish. Blot the moisture away, and on a busy shape a drop of super glue helps. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as their chemistry attacks the printed resin.
This is an accessory to a plastic model, not the model itself. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
