This is a set of self-adhesive masking templates (an airbrush mask) in 1:32 scale for masking the glazing of the canopy, not a model of an aircraft. The templates follow the shape of the canopy frames of the aircraft of the Curtiss Hawk 75 family precisely, that is of the P-36, Hawk 75 and Mohawk 75 variants and of the export versions Hawk 75M-N-O, so that they make it possible to separate the glazing from the frames cleanly during painting.
With the masks you cover the individual windows of the canopy and then spray the surrounding frames in the color of the airframe. Once the masks are removed the glazing stays clean and the frames sharply bounded, without the lengthy hand cutting of masking tape.
Clean and degrease the glazing before masking. Press the mask carefully onto the edges of the frames so that the paint does not run. It is a good idea to spray the interior color of the frames first and then the final color of the airframe.
This is a masking aid. Paints and the model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
