Eduard 1:32 P-40 fishtail exhausts is a resin detail set of exhaust manifolds for P-40 models in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail set from the Brassin line by the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It replaces the plastic exhaust manifolds with precisely cast resin parts of the fishtail type with faithfully indicated openings. Intended for P-40 models in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane kit but an accessory.
The Curtiss P-40 was an American single-seat fighter that became famous during the Second World War with the Flying Tigers unit among others. It was powered by a V engine, whose fishtail exhaust manifolds rank among the prominent features of the machine's side profile.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut the casting blocks off and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways while sanding. Spray the exhausts in shades of burnt metal and draw the surface out with pigments for a scorched effect.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
