A set of precisely cut self-adhesive masks in 1:32 scale for a model of the North American P-51 Mustang fighter. The masks are stuck onto a finished coat of paint, define the area that is to be sprayed in another color and are taken off once it has dried. The extent of the sheet differs between the maker's individual sets, so before buying we recommend comparing the maker's illustration of the sheet with what you need on the model.
In 1:32 the model is large and every inaccuracy is visible from a meter away. A shape sprayed through a mask has two advantages over the alternatives: it has no edge of carrier film, which with decals on a matte surface often silvers, and it has no wavering edge arising from freehand spraying. The drawback is that you have to watch the alignment and the symmetry when sticking the masks on - in this scale a few tenths of a millimeter show.
