With the larger diameters the center of gravity of the work shifts from handling to layout. A single isolated piece is easy to seat, but on a model such joints tend to come in groups of four, six or eight, and the eye immediately spots that they are spaced irregularly. An asymmetrical row around a clutch cover spoils the impression more than a slightly inaccurate shade of paint.
Photograph the marked points with a phone and look at the shot on the display. The magnification reveals an irregularity you would overlook when looking from above, and at that moment polishing the points out and marking them again is still enough. Once drilled through, the repair is much more expensive: the hole has to be filled with stretched plastic, sanded and the surface resprayed.
One more small thing that saves nerves: number the marked points with a pencil on a slip of paper beside you and install them in the same order. If the work is interrupted you know at once where you left off, and it will not happen that one place is left empty.
Only the parts themselves are supplied; the model and the jigs do not come with them.
