1:32 P-51B Mustang, seat with safety belts is a resin accessory from the Quickboost brand. It replaces the bare plastic seat with a casting that has the belts modeled directly on it.

This is not an aircraft kit but a single resin part that will replace the out-of-the-box seat in the cockpit of a Mustang model in the P-51B version. The main added value is that the safety belts are cast in one piece with the seat. That does away with the most tiresome part of building an interior, that is bending photo-etched strips or gluing paper belts, and the result looks naturally creased, the way belts really hang over the edge of the shell.
The P-51B belongs to the early Mustangs with a glazed canopy of the classic shape, that is without the later teardrop hood. Its cockpit is admittedly harder to see into from above, but all the more visible from the side and through the open door. The seat is at the same time the item on which the viewer's eye settles first in 1:32 scale. It is worth giving it more than a coat of a single color.
Wash the part in warm soapy water to rid it of mold release agent. Cut the casting block away with a fine razor saw and sand the surface flat so that the seat does not stand crooked in the cockpit. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. When painting, start from the shell, then move on to the straps in a different shade and bring out their fittings with a fine brush. A fine dark wash will emphasize the creases, and light drybrushing in a lighter tone will draw out the edges. You can suggest worn patches on the cushion very carefully with graphite or a dark metallic shade.
This is an accessory for a build and is supplied unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
