PR Hawker Hurricane - Conversion Set is a resin conversion to the reconnaissance version of the Hurricane. It counts on the Revell kits of the Mk.I, Mk.IIB and Mk.IIC versions.

The conversion from the AIMS brand makes it possible to build the Hawker Hurricane in the form the machines were given after modification for photographic and tactical reconnaissance. The resin castings are prepared for the large boxes of the Revell brand, specifically for the Mk.I, Mk.IIB and Mk.IIC versions, so you can choose what to start from.
The Hurricane gradually withdrew from the front line of fighter combat, but the aircraft was sturdy, easy to repair and did better in the desert than many a newer type. Some of the machines therefore received cameras in the fuselage and flew over North Africa, the Mediterranean and later over Burma. The pilots photographed from low altitude and relied on speed near the ground. It is precisely these machines that tend to be the least represented in collections, although their finishes are among the most interesting.
Offer the fuselage up dry before gluing the parts in and mark the lines where material is to be removed. Level the cut edges with a fine-toothed file and clean up the clear openings with polish. A desert finish stands out after a light lightening of the surfaces and a fine dusting of the lower areas.
