IBG models 1:32 PZL P.11c masks is a masking set for a model of the Polish P.11c fighter in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a model of an airplane. The set serves to mask the glazing and other areas that have to be covered while spraying, so that they stay clean and the transition of the paint has a crisp edge. The set comes from the same maker that also offers the P.11c kit itself in this scale, so in shape it follows that mold.
The PZL P.11c is a Polish single-seat fighter of the 1930s with a characteristic high gull wing of the so-called Polish type, an open cockpit and fixed landing gear. The combination of an exposed cockpit, prominent framing and a broken-up skin makes this type a rewarding subject for a large scale, where every detail is visible.
Degrease the surface before sticking the mask on, and do not touch the glazing with your fingers. Transfer the masks with tweezers and press the edges down firmly, especially on the curves. Before the actual shade, spray a thin coat of the color the frame is to have on the inside; that seals the edge and nothing creeps under the mask. Spray thinly and in several coats. Remove the mask while the paint is fresh but already dry to the touch. With an open cockpit it pays to mask the inside of the framing as well, because it will be visible.
The set contains masking parts only. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
