PZL P.11c oil radiator 1:32 (Quickboost)

This is an aftermarket accessory in cast resin by the Quickboost brand, made by the Czech company Aires. It is not an aircraft kit but a standalone accurate casting of the oil radiator intended to replace the coarser plastic part of the base kit of the Polish PZL P.11c fighter in 1:32 scale.

The real subject

The PZL P.11c was an all-metal high-wing monoplane with a characteristic gull wing, the main fighter type of the Polish Air Force at the start of the Second World War. The oil radiator belonged to the powerplant with its radial engine and on the real aircraft it is a clearly visible detail that raises the fidelity of a model.

Usage tips

First wash the part to remove mold release residue, cut it off the casting block carefully and clean it up. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding resin. A primer before spraying is advisable.
