A large plastic kit of the 1:32 RAF Harrier GR.MK7 from Trumpeter - the British vertical take-off attack aircraft in an impressive scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British attack version of the Harrier GR.7 in 1:32 scale from Trumpeter. It is a sizable model with a richly broken-up surface, clear cockpit parts, a photo-etched fret and rubber tires. Decals for two real Royal Air Force aircraft are included. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Harrier GR.7 was the night attack version of the vertical take-off aircraft in Royal Air Force service, close in concept to the American AV-8B in its Night Attack form. Thanks to vectored thrust it could take off and land on a very short runway or vertically, which made deployment from forward bases and from ship decks possible. It served for close air support of ground forces and for reconnaissance.
Use liquid modeling cement on the plastic joints and first remove the flash from the parts. Apply a primer before painting, which evens out the surface and highlights any shortcomings. An airbrush makes the fine transitions of the typical British camouflage easier. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). It pays to shade the cockpit and the landing gear bays in detail.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
