This is a set of pre-cut self-adhesive masks in kabuki (washi) film, not a kit. The masks serve for quick and precise masking of the frames of the glazed canopy of a Douglas SBD-3 Dauntless model from the Trumpeter kit in 1:32 scale before spraying. The parts are numbered and, together with the instructions, set exactly where they belong on the model. The single-sided version covers the outer surface of the glazing.
The Douglas SBD Dauntless was an American carrier-borne dive bomber of the Second World War that played a key part in the fighting in the Pacific, above all in the Battle of Midway. The SBD-3 version was among the early combat variants of the type.
