A decal sheet for models of the naval version of the Hurricane in 1:32 scale, for marking the Sea Hurricane Mk.IA, IIB, XII and IIC.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Sea Hurricane is the naval conversion of the British Hawker Hurricane fighter, powered by the Rolls-Royce Merlin V-12 piston engine. While the land-based Hurricane made its name in the Battle of Britain, its naval guise served over the sea. The earliest conversions were launched by catapult from the deck of merchant ships, and once the pilot had carried out his task he had to abandon the machine, because he had nowhere to land. Later versions already had an arrestor hook and operated from aircraft carriers.
A decal sheet in 1:32 scale for models of the Sea Hurricane in the versions designated Mk.IA, IIB, XII and IIC. You will find the overview of the finishes the sheet belongs to and the placing of the individual decals on the model in the enclosed instructions.
The decals are applied by the wet method. First coat the area where the decal is going with gloss varnish, so that silvery bubbles do not form under the film. Soak the cut-out decal in lukewarm water for a few seconds, let it rest until it releases from the backing and slide it onto the model. Squeeze the water out from under the film with a soft cloth and, on intricate places, help it with a softener. Once dry, go over the whole model with a matte or semi-matte varnish, so that the edges of the decals disappear.
The aircraft kit, paints and varnish are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
