A set of figures of British soldiers of the First World War in 1:35 scale. The figures are intended to be glued, painted and used to complete dioramas and display-case scenes.
Responsibility details are not available.
During the First World War the British infantry took on the appearance we most associate with that conflict today: a uniform in shades of khaki, a woolen tunic, puttees and, from the middle of the war, a flat steel helmet. The soldiers carried full field equipment, so even a small figure wears a number of straps, haversacks and ammunition pouches that are worth painting carefully.
This is a set of figures in 1:35 scale, that is in the size most common for models of military vehicles. The exact number of figures, their poses and the extent of the equipment are given in the maker's instructions.
Separate the parts with a sharp blade a little away from the figure and sand the remainder carefully so that the detail is not damaged. Wash and degrease the figures before painting. Choose the glue and the paints according to the material of the parts and according to the maker's instructions. The base shade of the uniform is khaki; the faces, the leather of the equipment and the metal parts take shape only after a glaze in the recesses and dry brushing on the edges.
The set suits builders of First World War dioramas and anyone who wants to add a human scale to the vehicles in a display case. Paints, glue, a base and tools are not supplied, unless stated otherwise.
