Spitfire Mk.IX landing gear bay plugs 1:32 (Omask)

This is a modeling aid, not a kit. The set contains flexible foam plugs shaped exactly to the landing gear bays of a model of the Spitfire Mk.IX fighter in 1:32 scale. Before painting you simply push them into the open bays, so their interiors stay clean without laborious masking with tape and newspaper. The set is intended for the Tamiya kits.

Use

  • Insert the plugs into the landing gear bays before spraying the top coat or varnish.
  • Spray the outer surfaces of the model in the usual way.
  • Once the paint has dried, pull the plugs out carefully; the inside of the bay stays in its original color.
  • The foam can be reused as needed.
