Eduard 1:32 Su-27 Flanker B masks is a die-cut self-adhesive masking set in kabuki tape for masking the glazing and wheels of a model of the Russian fighter. It is not a model but an accessory for clean painting.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard contains precisely cut self-adhesive masks in Japanese kabuki tape for a model of the Sukhoi Su-27 fighter in 1:32 scale. It is not a kit or a finished model but an accessory that makes masking for spraying easier and more accurate.
The masks are stuck onto the frames of the roomy canopy and onto the wheel rims, so that after spraying the glass stays clear and the tires free of paint. Kabuki tape conforms well to curved shapes, holds tight and leaves no adhesive when peeled off. The canopy frames therefore come out sharp and straight without cutting tape by hand.
The Sukhoi Su-27, NATO reporting name Flanker, is a large twin-engine air superiority fighter of Soviet, later Russian, origin. It was powered by AL-31F engines and became known for its long range, striking agility and ability to carry heavy armament. The Flanker B version denotes the basic single-seat fighter.
The set contains only the cut-out masking parts. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
