1:72 BOZ-107 pod is a resin pod with countermeasure dispensers in 1:72 scale from Eduard. It is an accessory for a plastic combat aircraft kit, not a model.

A detailing set in cast resin in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. The subject is a BOZ series pod that carries countermeasure dispensers, that is magazines of chaff and flares with which an aircraft defends itself against radar-guided and infrared-guided missiles. The pod is hung on a standard pylon, most often paired with a jamming pod on the opposite wing. The resin casting captures the small dispenser ports and covers that injection-molded plastic cannot manage in this scale. The package is an accessory to a plastic kit and does not hold an aircraft.
The BOZ series pods are European passive defense systems carried on a hardpoint. Inside the aerodynamic casing sit magazines of decoys that are fired on the crew's command or automatically once a threat is detected. Chaff confuses radar guidance, while flares draw off missiles with an infrared seeker. The pod itself has no propulsion and no sensors of its own and forms part of the wider defensive fit of the aircraft.
Wash the casting in lukewarm water with dish soap so that no mold release agent is left on the surface. Cut the casting block off with a fine saw where it seats on the pylon, out of sight, and level the area on abrasive paper laid on a flat board. Protect your airways while sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Painting: a primer, then a shade that matches the stores fit of the aircraft in question. Bring the dispenser ports out with a dark wash and blacken the surroundings lightly, because they get dirty from the firings.
The set is an accessory for a plastic kit, not a model and not a substitute for one. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
