Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German fighter aircraft of the Second World War in 1:72 scale from the Japanese manufacturer Tamiya. The model faithfully captures the stubby shape of the machine with its radial engine, and it has a broken down cockpit, clear parts and fine engraved panel lines. The manufacturer states several marking options for Luftwaffe units in the box. The exact contents depend on the particular box.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 was one of the highest performing German fighters of the Second World War. Unlike the liquid-cooled V12 engine of the Messerschmitt Bf 109, it was powered by the air-cooled BMW 801 radial, which gave the aircraft great firepower, toughness and good flying qualities at low and medium altitudes. The A-3 version was one of the early production variants of the A series and was committed on the Western Front from 1942.
Use liquid cement for plastic and work in subassemblies. Finish and paint the cockpit before closing up the fuselage, and mask the clear canopy. Lay a primer before painting and spray with an airbrush. Good acrylic or enamel paints suit the period German camouflage schemes with their typical gray shades; the engraved panel lines will stand out after a light emphasis with a wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
