Quinta Studio 1:32 Tornado ECR in the Italian version is a colored 3D printed set for the cockpit interior of a large model of the Panavia Tornado. The set is intended for the Italeri kit.

This set from Quinta Studio gives the cockpit of a large Tornado finished colored surfaces with three-dimensional structure. It aims at the two-seat cockpit in 1:32 scale and takes on the part of the work that eats up the most time on a model of that size: bringing the instrument panels and the side consoles into readable shape. It is based on the dimensions of the Italeri kit.
The Tornado ECR came about as a specialized machine for suppressing enemy air defenses. The Italian examples were conversions of IDS airframes and their main weapon was the anti-radiation missile; the extensive passive emitter location suite that the German version received was not fitted to the Italian machines. They kept the two-seat layout, the variable-geometry wing and the pair of engines with afterburners.
In a large scale nothing can be fudged, because the cockpit stays readable even once the canopy is closed. Work in small sections, have good lighting and a magnifier ready, and clear the surfaces of dust and finger grease beforehand. Dry fit the positions first and only then fix them permanently. Photograph the finished interior before you join the fuselage.
