1:32 WWII USAAF oxygen cylinder A-6 PRINT brings the A-6 oxygen cylinder as an interior accessory for models in a large scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This standalone detail from Eduard represents the oxygen cylinder designated A-6, of the kind used by the US Army Air Forces during the Second World War. It is worked out for the large 1:32 scale and serves as equipment for interior spaces, not as a kit of a whole machine.
The A-6 designation belongs to a different type of cylinder than the closely related A-4, and the modeler chooses according to what is documented for the machine in hand. It finds a use in the pilot's compartment, in fuselage passages and at the gunners' stations. In a large scale a small item like this reads well and helps to fill places that stay smooth on the plastic parts.
First try the fit dry and check that the part does not get in the way when the fuselage halves are closed. Clean the separated piece, go over the parting lines with fine abrasive paper and get the dust off the surface. Apply the paint with an airbrush in thin coats; the raised shapes will come out after drybrushing. The securing straps and hoses can be added from a thin strip of foil and soft wire.
The aircraft model and paints are not included in the package.
