A fully 3D-printed kit for experienced modelers of the American airfield loader for bombs and external armament MJ-1B/C Jammer in 1:32 scale from the maker Reskit. This release makes it possible to build both forms, the older MJ-1B and the upgraded MJ-1C version. The package usually also holds several types of bomb pallet carriers, optional tire parts and decals, so what comes out is a faithful accessory to an aircraft or to an airfield scene.
The MJ-1 Jammer is a low self-propelled hydraulic loader with which the ground crews of the US Air Force lift and hang bombs and other external armament under the wings and fuselage of combat aircraft. It has been in service since the end of the 1950s and proved itself in the Vietnam War, in the Gulf War and in later conflicts. It is a typical piece of small airfield equipment, without which preparing a combat aircraft for a mission cannot be done.
As with any resin and 3D-printed kit, first wash the parts free of uncured print resin residue, cut the print supports off carefully and do any sanding with your airways protected. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and try the parts dry first. Apply primer before painting, lay the yellow high-visibility color of the loader on with an airbrush and bring the whole thing to life by working in traces of service, dust and oil stains.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
