A set of small screws with a button head, a hex socket and a washer in five sizes: 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and 1.4 mm. They serve for detailing models of cars, single-seaters and motorcycles, where screwed joints are on show. It is an accessory, and there is no model in the package.
The figures 1.0 to 1.4 mm are the sizes of the individual heads, not a scale. The set is therefore not tied to one scale and can be used wherever the diameter of the head matches the real subject. Under the part number DCL-PAR074 the manufacturer also offers a finer range of the same type, from 0.4 to 0.9 mm. The two sets are named almost identically and differ only in the range of sizes, so check which size range you need before you buy.
Work with tweezers over a raised mat or a shallow box, so that a lost part does not roll off across the workshop. Try the seating dry and dose the cyanoacrylate glue with a pin in the smallest possible amount, so that it does not run into the groove of the hex socket and fill in the shape of the head. Painting is usually quicker before assembly: stick the parts face down on double-sided tape and spray them all at once.
This is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
