The Basler BT-67 is the modern turboprop conversion of the classic Douglas DC-3 / C-47 transport aircraft. Basler Turbo Conversions of Oshkosh in the United States completely refurbishes and modernizes the original airframes — fitting them with powerful turboprop engines, lengthening and strengthening the fuselage and reworking the wings and the avionics. The result is a reliable multipurpose aircraft that serves even in the 21st century in the most demanding conditions, including polar regions and special missions. It thus extends the service of a legendary airframe by decades.
Paint the interior and bring it out before closing the fuselage, and mask the glazed areas with the enclosed masks. Given the large smooth areas of the airframe, take care over filling and sanding the fuselage joints so that they do not show once the finish is on. Paint with an airbrush over a primer — many operational schemes are strongly colored; a thin coat of varnish under the decals and only discreet wear will underline the gloss and the clean look.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
