A steel insert for the Portable Hobby Station. The station is a modular organizer into which various inserts are slid as needed, and this one of them is metal. It serves as a solid surface for setting down tools and parts in progress right at hand, that is where paper or plastic would not last long.
Steel sheet will stand a drop of super glue, spilled paint and thinner and lets itself be wiped without going matte or warping. A scalpel set down on it, or a heated tool, will not harm it the way they do a plastic dish. Dried paint peels off it with a blade and the surface is clean again.
For modelers who already use the portable modeling station and want to put its equipment together to suit themselves. It pays off everywhere work is done in a small space and the bench serves for things other than modeling too.
The package contains only the insert stated. The station itself, further inserts and tools are not included, unless stated otherwise.
