A set of twenty Remove Before Flight warning streamers in 1:35 scale, in the standard external form. On real hardware these conspicuous ribbons hang from safety pins, intake covers and other places from which they have to be removed before takeoff, and on a model of a machine at rest they therefore belong among the details that instantly reveal it as parked and made safe.
The method of application differs between the individual Quinta ranges, so follow the manufacturer's instructions enclosed with this set. Cut a streamer out with sharp scissors close to the print and think out in advance where it will hang, because once settled it is hard to move. Have the base painted, perfectly dry and free of dust and grease. A streamer benefits from a slight curve, so that it does not look like a flat strip of paper stuck to the fuselage but like a ribbon pulled down by its own weight.
Twenty pieces will do for a whole model of an aircraft or a helicopter and for its surroundings, so the set makes most sense in larger scenes with machines at rest and with ground personnel. It will be appreciated by modelers who care more about the small finishing details than about the number of parts in a kit. The streamers suit aircraft as well as helicopters and serve just as well on airfield service vehicles, on which the same ribbons appear on tow bars and chocks.
